How to use this

Aim with it, do not study from it

A concept list is a diagnostic tool. It earns its keep after your first few tests, not before them.

1 · Sit a set first

Work a normal subject set. You cannot aim at a gap you have not found yet, and guessing at your own weak points is reliably wrong.

2 · Name the gap

Look at what you actually lost marks on and find that concept here. "Polity" is not a gap; "Anti-Defection Law" is one you can close in an evening.

3 · Drill and move on

Work the questions behind that one concept until it stops surprising you, then go back to full sets. Staying in the list is how revision turns into browsing.

Questions about concepts

What is a concept here, exactly?

The unit a single question tests. "Fundamental Rights" is a topic — a chapter heading a book prints. "Right to Equality" is a concept: you can be asked about it, and you can be right or wrong about it. Filing questions at that level is what makes it possible to say which specific thing you are weak at instead of telling you that Polity is a problem.

How were these concepts produced?

By a model reading the published question bank and naming what each question tests, then merging the surface forms that mean the same thing — "Art. 14", "Article Fourteen" and "अनुच्छेद 14" collapse to one concept rather than three. Concepts are reviewed before they appear here; the ones still awaiting review are not published to this page.

What does the question count next to a concept mean?

How many questions in our bank test it. That is a fact about the books the bank was built from, not a prediction about your paper — a subject covered by three source books will look busier than one covered by a single book. Where a concept has been matched to real past papers, the page says "in past papers" instead, and that number is evidence about the exam.

Should I study concept by concept?

Use it to aim, not as a syllabus. Work through a subject normally, and when a set shows you are losing marks somewhere specific, open that concept and drill it until it stops costing you. The list is most useful after your first few tests, when you know where the holes are.
